Brooks Adrenaline GTS 14 running shoes are aptly named because they are sure to become your next “go to shoes” thanks to custom cushioning that adapts to your specific pronation needs as a runner. Updates include trendy new colors and the lightweight 3D Printed upper that provides a seamless feel and secure fit. Ideal for moderate pronators that seek stability on the road or track.

Upper: Padded tongue and heel collar enhance instep comfort. Mesh offers breathable flexibility. Lace-up front offers an adjustable fit. 3D Printed overlays are strategically placed to provide a seamless and secure fit. Snug Fit Eye Row brings laces closer to the foot and creates uniform pressure across the instep. Asymmetrical Saddle ensures a customized wrap over the midfoot.

Midsole: Brooks DNA cushioning material provides a customized ride for runners of all sizes and speeds. Progressive Diagonal Rollbar is biomechanically engineered to allow for progressive pronation control and to create smoother transitions from the midstance phase into the propulsion phase. Full-length MOGO midsole delivers long-lasting cushioning. Universal Platform. Removable insole.

Outsole: Lateral ground contact creates smoother transitions. Heel Caterpillar crash pad extends through the midfoot and offers customized cushioning and stability for a smooth heel-to-toe transition. Flextra elements are strategically incorporated into the outsole in the forefoot area to provide forefoot stability depending on gender and weight categories. HPR Plus is a higher durability, abrasion-resistant rubber outsole compound that wears longer. Omni Grooves in the forefoot provide a more compliant forefoot ride and effortless transition.

Winter Shoe Guide 2013

"Longtime GTS wearers tell us the 14 stays true to its heritage. It boasts all the trappings of a traditional stability model, but the ride remains as smooth as ever. 'This shoe has the same comfort, stability, flexibility, and cushioning I've come to expect from the Adrenaline for both everyday training and long runs,' say Chris Garges, a speedy tester from Bethlehem, Pa. who trained in the GTS 14 leading up to his 1:16 at September's Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half-Marathon. The cushioning is on the firmer side of average, but is in the sweet spot; it's soft enough for high-mileage training but firm enough so the shoe remains stable. New to the 14: Printed overlays are used sparingly to adorn the upper. Unlike many shoes on the market today, which have gone totally stitch-free, most of the GTS's overlays are still stitched onto the mesh to provide additional support."
